We have had the invite extended to us to race outlaw class micros in liberal again. Ed wants to run us on the big track. How many cars would come down if we ran there a few times? Thanks

Its 3/8's around the top. Liberal is running sundays so it shouldnt conflict with gardens schedule. There next race is may 31st. It would be nice if we could get 10+ cars to come down. We need to get a count of how many will come race.

That is crazy!! I like to keep my car in one piece. Its to big for our cars. Someone is going to get hurt. Hugoton was to fast two years ago and we never went back. Good luck keeping you motor in one peice

It would be good racing if we could get a car count thats what ruined the liberal and hugoton situation before nobody would come race there. I guess nobody wants to better the micro racing in the area by getting some more exposure at different tracks?

Good racing? We'd keep the cars wide open and see who spent the most on the motor. The person with the most motor would likely win. A crash would result in major damage to the car and potentially the driver. The only exposure we'd get from racing at Liberal is exposure to injury and large repair bills for the car. If you want us to race in Liberal, give a suitable track for our cars to race on.

The person who spends the most money on motor generally wins alot of things. As far as exposure, liberal and hugoton was the reason I got into micros and found out there was a track in garden city.
Think what ya want I guess I can say that I tryed to get everyone another track to race at.

It would be nice to have another track in the area to race. As far as money goes, there are drivers at Garden that run stock motors and are competitive. That's the beauty of micros and a small track. A driver can be competitive on a budget. It would be nice if you could get of interest in 600s racing there for Liberal to prep the small track.

microsprinter, would be interested in looking at your track and possibly helping out. is your track comparable to cowtown speedway in Kennedale, TX? that's a pretty big track but we felt very safe there. just a thought would love to help anyone build the mini sprint community. maybe somewhere there is a compromise. we might even like to stay after garden city and possibly come look at the track and maybe even "hot lap" with the regular show just to see what you've got. ;D ;D ;D

We race on 3/8 mile all the time out here in Az. Lap times are high 14's low 15' , A bigger track makes for more room between cars, with 5 wide in the turns...! Great fun, its fast, and the wrecks are minimal because the cars can spread out. Now when we race on the 1/2 mile in Tucson,,, thats a scary fast 120 mph, 16 second lap....!
